Description:
Banded belts are two or more v-belts (ribs) joined together to form a single unit. They are designed to wedge into matched pulleys thereby eliminating single belt faults under fluctuating and pulsating load tensions. Banded belts are an excellent solution to problem drives with long center distances or drives with pulsating and high shock loads where single belts vibrate, turn over or jump off the sheaves. Shown to right is a Stens Banded Drive Belt with 5 Bands |
